Family owned and operated, me (Glen) and my father (Jim) started this company in April of 2022 with a vision to create a well-known and quality deck, patio and fence company. Two years into our mission I feel that we have done exactly what we set out to do and St. Patricks Day of 2024, two weeks ago, showed me how great we have become. Many friends and family set out with us to walk the Annapolis St. Patricks Day Parade on our side. Pulling our Trex/Fiberon trailer off the back of company truck with kids and families screaming our names down West Street was the ultimate joy for Cypress Glen Outdoor. We aren’t going anywhere and we continue to build high quality projects for our lovely clients!

When our clients in Bowie, Maryland, contacted us about designing and building a custom deck and patio at their home, they let us know that they wanted something special. We sat down with our homeowners and designed their dream space for the backyard. It’s a place where they can relax or entertain. But most of all, it’s built to custom specifications and is unique to their home! We’ve added all the custom touches to this project. From the beautiful customer paver patio underneath the main deck to the gazebo accent… sit with your favorite book and enjoy the sunshine! Notice the private, smaller deck off the kitchen, with a pergola over the top to enjoy your morning coffee while you listen to the birds. We recently built this custom deck and patio in one of our favorite neighborhoods in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. We set out to build a beautiful outdoor living space. We designed it with the help and input of our clients, and we were all delighted with how it turned out. This twenty-one-foot deck across the back of the home has a paver patio underneath on the ground floor and a dark, rich Synergy wood ceiling overhead. It’s built with Architectural LVL beams, enabling us to use all the space under the deck without using columns. Installing a Trex Rain Escape Deck Drain allows for a dry deck to maximize the time you have to be outdoors enjoying the space.
